My Husband and I always make the drive to this Home Show. We have been to other shows but they never have the quality products service and deals as this show. Plus this show is fun and Its easy to get to and right across from Greatr America Park. As one of the owners of the Bay Area's longest running Home Show www.southbayhomeshow.com I can tell you that i have seen enough dips and climbs in the housing industry to impress the best roller coaster enthusiast!But if you are an Owner of a Home Improvement/Remodeling Business one thing that is certain, you cannot hide your head in the sand if you want to grow your business doing these very sketchy times. Stop listening to anyone that simply says, "Oh business will improve soon its' cyclic". Because that means you are waiting for some magic to happen all by itself and that is never going to be the case again. If you want to survive, or better yet if you want to GROW your business back to a respectable level its' time you realized who your friends are and what networking outlets you have to get the word out about your services. Which bring me to our Home Show. The South Bay home Show is the longest running Home&Garden; event in the San Francisco Bay area. It's now referred to as South Bay's Art of Home. Now before you think I am just pitching you to get you to buy exhibit space at my show listen up. Face to Face contact is the absolute best way to meet a potential customer. Those attendees that pay to get into a show (like ours and not those Free ones) are there because they have needs or they wouldn't pay to get in. But that is only one small part of the equation. ALL of the Exhibitors in the show are themselves a Great big Community of working Home Remodeling Industry Professionals. As such they will often have leads for other businesses when their customers ask for a reference and sometimes when they cant do the job themselves.
