Here are the most important aspects to the SEO Process from the SEO San Jose Experts: On-Page Optimization Off-Page Optimization Content Generation Link Building Social Media Posts Company Blog Google Yahoo Bing 300x113 Secrets to SEO, Everyone Forgets Number 6 SEO San JoseThe first aspect of SEO is to make sure that the search engines can read your website properly. This is the process of On-Page Optimization. On-Page Optimization is the very first phase of a monthly SEO Maintenance plan on your website. The second step to the SEO Process is making sure that any links, social media posts, and in-house resources are fully optimized to maximize your website’s organic rankings on the search engines. Many times professional companies might have great social media resources, blogs, domain names, or sub-domains that have awesome Google authority. Here at Baytech, we ensure that all of your in-house resources are fully optimized to produce higher organic rankings to your website. These first two steps are usually called SEO Setup. Now let’s move on to Phase 2 of the SEO Process. Content is King 300x204 Secrets to SEO, Everyone Forgets Number 6 SEO San Jose If you have done your research, most any SEO Guru will agree that “Content is King.” Let’s explore this subject just a little further. The main reason that content is so vital is that search engines can only read textual content on the internet. Therefore the more that a company focuses their marketing around building content, the larger your website’s sphere of influence will be on the web. Baytech’s SEO Team focuses on a mixture of content generation and link building so that the search engines will look at your website as an authority on your products, services, and offerings. This completes Phase 2 of the SEO Process. Lastly, let’s delve into the social media and blogging realm of internet marketing. The final phase of SEO combines blogging and social media posts. Blog Social Media 300x212 Secrets to SEO, Everyone Forgets Number 6 SEO San JoseSocial media is becoming a vital piece to the SEO puzzle. The methodology behind social media is that if other people mention, “Like”, or “Follow” your social media, that your content is popular and trending on the web. The more “Likes” or “Followers,” the higher the search engines will rank your website organically over time. Again social media is merely a contributing factor to SEO, but it will become more and more important as time goes on. The final element to the SEO Process is blogging. Again, posting highly relevant content that directly relates to your products, services, and client-base will not only show your customers that there is life behind the business, but these efforts will also help your company appear more in organic search. GIC’s Tips That Will Save Your Gas Mileage

We all like “FREE GAS” don’t we? And I’m not talking about the kind you get at La Pinata either. I am talking about you getting free gas right from your car. Let’s face it, gas prices are not going to get any lower and many of us aren’t going to start driving electric cars just yet, so we need to make our gas dollars stretch farther. There are many things you can do to get more mileage out of your car and it is just like getting free gas right from your car. The pros here at GIC Car Clinic want to help you get more mileage out of your car and it won’t cost you very much. In fact, many of these tips won’t cost you a dime. You’ve heard it before and now we’re saying it here, follow the speed limit. Not just to be safe and avoid a ticket, you would be amazed how much gas you can save just by abiding by the posted speed limits on the highway. For the first few weeks you may have to set the cruise control and avoid the urge to speed, but you will notice significant savings in gas and will be filling up less at the pump. Try not to let your car idle for any longer than you have to. Warming up your vehicle in the morning for a couple minutes is okay but try not to go longer than that. Remember, idling gets 0 MPG. Consolidate your short trips and try to make a round trip out of your errands. This will save your mileage as well as wear and tear on your car. Avoid aggressive driving, short bursts of speed and jack-rabbit starts will burn up your gas fast. If you have a lot of unnecessary weight in your car’s trunk or cargo areas, take it out. Even an extra 100 pounds can lower your fuel economy by almost 2 percent. That adds up quickly. Bring your car in for a tune-up. A good tune-up will include spark plugs and spark plug wires, an air filter and a check of your oxygen sensors. A properly tuned car will pay for itself in gas savings. Have the shop check out your fuel system as well including your fuel filter and gas cap. Having your car tuned up will save you an average of 4 percent in fuel economy. Change your oil regularly. This will help protect your engine from harm and gain you around 1 extra mile per gallon. Keep your tires properly inflated. Check the sticker on the inside of your car’s door for the proper inflation. This will add another 3 percent to your mileage. Have your wheels properly aligned. Just as if your car had a flat tire, an out-of-aligned wheel will cause your car to have more rolling resistance causing it to work harder to move down the road. Choose the right gas for your car. If your car runs fine on lower octane, then use that. There is no need to buy more expensive gas if you don’t need it. By following these tips, you will get better gas mileage out of your car and save more money in your wallet. If you have any questions or need to schedule a tune-up, call GIC Car Clinic today.  By Alan Yu ...read more

How To Choose The Right Auto Repair Shop

Here at GIC Car Clinic we know that you have many options when it comes to choosing the right auto repair shop and we would like to help you make a better decision. There are many things to consider when choosing a repair shop and we have made a list of things that will help you make that choice. It is always best to find a repair shop before you actually need one. That way, you aren’t left making a bad choice just because you have to. Ask your friends, neighbors or coworkers for advice. Everyone has taken their car in for repair at one time or another and their experiences can help you make a good choice. Perform an internet search and research the business. Read the online reviews if you can find any. Don't forget, not all reviews can be trusted. Use your best judgement. Look for a clean, well kept shop but don’t expect it to be spotless. A good shop will have modern, updated equipment and if it looks busy, they must be doing something right. Make sure the shop can handle your type of repair or your particular type of car. Some shops specialize in certain makes and certain repairs. Any time you are choosing a business, especially a repair shop, you should call your local Better Business Bureau and ask how that shop rates with them. They will provide you a list of complaints against a business as well as how they were handled. Verify the repair shop's license and/or the technicians' licenses at Bureau of Automotive Repair (BAR). Look for signs of mechanic competence and the familiar ASE sign. The office should display ASE certifications, certificates of advanced courses, and trade school diplomas. Shops that employ more than 75 percent of technicians who are ASE-certified attain certification of the top-notch ASE Blue Seal of Excellence Recognition Program. GIC Car Clinic has been a Blue Seal of Excellence member since 2008. Don’t just choose a shop because it is in a convenient location. You should choose them by how good they are not how close they are to your home or work. Many shops will offer pick-up or drop-off services, ask around. Stop in or place a call to the shop, a friendly and helpful person is the sign of a well-run shop. Professionalism goes a long way on this field. Make sure and ask questions when you call, the shop foreman or service writer will be able to answer any questions you might have. While you are there, ask about labor rates, guarantees and methods of accepted payments. These should be posted in the lobby or waiting room as well. And finally, start off small. Bring the shop that you have chosen a small job and see how they perform for you before bringing them in some major repairs. The professionals here at GIC Car Clinic want you to find the best repair shop for you and your car. Please feel free to call us and take a look at what we have to offer you. We have many testimonials from actual customers right here on our website for you to see, or you can stop in any time and talk to a member of our team. By Alan Yu ...read more
