My husband and myself have been enjoying getting back into horseback riding after 20 years. We forgot how much fun we were missing. We are retired now and have time to enjoy being around horses again. Sonya has been very helpful and encouraging. Her horses are amazing horses. I haven't been on a horse in 20 years and been dying to ride for about a year. Finally got serious and started looking at reviews. Saw alot of bad reviews in LA and other areas. Those people went to the wrong place. I called and was greeted with a friendly lady. My first ride was with Darian. So professional, nice and explained what to expect in great detail. I wasn't taking a lesson but she was teaching me anyway which helped me ride a little better and gain confidence. OK, heals down, toes up, keep a straight frame. I was so happy with the experience, I went again the following Sat 2/9. Rode with Sonja and again, outstanding expertise, patience, and instruction. Horses are well cared for and you can tell they are loved. The trails were absolutely beautiful, too. I'm going to pass on the skiing and go horseback riding here again and again and again! Went riding for 1st time in 7yrs. Used to ride hunter/jumper & there are differences, however Sonja was able to size me up to the perfect horse. I was a bit nervous being on a trail, since hunter/jumper restricts you to an arena, but w/ the patience and expertise these people have,I was able to relax & have a great time. My guide was a lovely, patient girl w/whom I felt great confidence in. Thank You!! I was also struck by the exemplary care the horses are given; gleaming coats, neat hooves, shoes, etc. and how protective Sonja is of her beautiful animals.
