Dave and Open Door are truly outstanding at what they do. They created a great party at the reception - such that our bridal party was still talking about how great our deejay was months after the wedding!

Probably more important, they made me and my husband feel like a unique couple. Dave talked to us about what kind of music we like, what we did and did not want to hear, and what kind of atmosphere we were hoping for.

Last, Dave also showed great leadership by basically running the show during our ceremony - completely unplanned in advance! At the last minute, we realized we needed someone to cue the bridal party to walk down the aisle, as they couldn't see or hear the music well from the staging area. Dave stepped in and helped everything run smoothly.

We worked with Open Door A/V Entertainment for the videotaping and sound system (microphones and speakers) for our wedding ceremony. It was on semi-short notice that I realized I would need these things, and Dave responded very quickly and professionally to my online request. He told me they were already booked that day but he would be able to have an assistant help out to make it work. He even had this seasonal employee start earlier than planned so we could work together! I was very pleased with this and their very fair pricing so we went ahead and booked Open Door. It wasn't until a couple weeks before the wedding that I realized I failed to figure out a way to show the slideshow of pictures set to music that we had put together for the rehearsal dinner and wedding reception. I emailed Dave and he came to the rescue yet again. He said they would be able to supply both the screen and the projector and he again provided very reasonable pricing for this. Dave continually went above and beyond throughout the process. He met up with me a month before the wedding at the site of the ceremony since it was at a friend's house and he wanted to look it over ahead of time so they'd be prepared. He took extra time to make sure it would be perfect and we truly appreciate that. On the day of the rehearsal, the sound system and screen/projector were delivered promptly and he walked us through how to use everything. Dave also went out of his way to pick the equipment up instead of having us get it back to him because he knew we were leaving for our honeymoon early Sunday morning and it would be difficult for us to get it back to him. This is just one example of many where we were blown away by Dave and his efforts to make our day great. I would highly recommend Open Door A/V Entertainment for anyone's audio/visual needs and videography for their wedding day. they are true professionals and we coudn't be happier!

Our reception hall recommended Open Door for DJing. After meeting with Dave, we decided to save money and hire them to handle our photography, videography, and put together our picture shiw. We met on several occasions, and they were very helpful with ideas and options for what we wanted. I have to admit I was a little nervous at first putting so many responsibilities in one company, but on our wedding day, everything went so smooth and we didn't have to worry about anything. We were able to relax and enjoy the day we planned so long for. We' ve been married over a year, and I STILL get great comments on how fun the day was by my friends! Dave kept in touch with us about the progress of the photos and video. When we received our things, I was so shocked at the quality and creativity of our pictures. And our video was truly remarkable! I saw things that I didn't remember, or even get a chance to see that day! It went by so quickly, and we're SO happy with all they did!
