I've shopped here for parts in the past but this was my first time buying a trailer from them. Josh and the staff made the whole buying process extremely easy. If I ever need another trailer, I won't even bother going anywhere else. Truly a 1 stop shop with the best prices in town (by a good margin). ...read more

Volkswagen puts the “JET” in Jetta

Driving a 4dr family car that seats five does not mean you cannot have a little fun when cruising around Tucson, AZ. The 2.0 litre, turbocharged, 4 cylinder engine in the 2010 Jetta Wolfsburg Edition is rated at 200 hp @ 5100 rpm with 207 ft-lbs of torque @ 1800 rpm. When tied to the front wheel drive, 6-speed automatic transmission the Jetta does not disappoint – especially when that turbo kicks in – while still delivering 27 combined city/highway MPG (24 city MPG/32 Highway MPG). The nicely appointed interior of the Wolfsburg Edition comes with many bells and whistles that just make driving more enjoyable. Features include: air conditioning, power windows, power locks, power steering, tilt wheel, am/fm cd/mp3, satellite, traction control, keyless entry, alarm, daytime running lights, all wheel abs, and power sun/moon roof. Whether you are heading up to Mt Lemmon for some skiing or to beat the summer heat, highway driving on I-10, or just going back and forth from work, this may be a great vehicle choice for you if you are looking for a used car in Tucson. Take one for a test drive and see for yourself.  You should be able to find several, low mileage, previously owned 2010 Jettas from a quality auto dealer in Tucson – just make sure you look for the Wolfsburg Edition to get all the extras like the 2.0l turbo and put the jet in your Jetta.     See all of our used auto offerings at Goliath Auto Sales Tucson AZ http://www.tucsonusedcarsandtrucks.com ...read more

How to keep your car healthy

I get asked frequently what someone can do to keep  their car safely on the road. Here are the key four things I  always suggest. Doesn't matter where you do it but it will save you a lot of problems.  Here goes: 1. Do regular recommended maintenance. Your car's maker publishes a list of things to check and when. Your service shop will have more suggestions that can prevent problems and breakdowns. 2. Focus on regular checkups. For example, your regular oil change is a great time for a service facility to check important safety and reliability items. Truth is, most oil change shops just change oil and some other fluids. Don't miss the chance to have your vehicle checked over for growing problems. 3. Tend to early symptoms before major problems arise. Mention your concerns during regular service or make a quick consult by phone or visit. Not everything needs immediate attention. You can delay some items if you are willing to put up with temporary inconvenience. Have your shop help you set priorities between urgent and important repairs you need. 4. Find a good shop to partner with. Dealerships can be good but expensive and inconvenient. Major service chains are better but their regular turnover in advisors makes it hard to build relationships. Many find that a local shop with good technical resources (including the service records for your car), comfortable surroundings, and a staff who cares gives them the best outcomes. Asking friends who they use is a great way to find someone you can trust. Safe driving! - Randy ...read more
