The Weapons Works totally screwed up threading the barrel on a Mini-14 and refused to correct it, The threaded flash suppressor was canted upwards and they tried to say it was 'normal'. The only reason I didn't sue them in small claims court was that I had to be deployed in 2 days. ...read more

Defenzia LLC is a company specializing in less lethal and tactical solutions for law enforcement professionals in the Americas. Based in the less lethal capital of the United States, Scottsdale Arizona, the company services South and Central America as well as the United States and Canada. The company's signature weapon is the Defenzia M09, a less lethal NFA firearm which is based on Russian technology which was developed over fifteen years ago at the Russian Academy of Sciences in Saint Petersburg. Defenzia LLC aims to provide greater versatility, range, and stopping power than other traditional less lethal platforms currently out on the market today (pictured above with orange handle). The Defenzia M09 is a compact platform meant for both patrol units and specialized operations such as SWAT, Marine, K9, and SRT. The Defenzia M09 resembles a Derringer pistol as it is laid out in a quadruple barrel configuration. The M09 is ideal for increased distance in engaging suspects with less lethal force and meant to be carried as a cross-draw option. The device is electronically fired through a piezoelectric generator which produces independent amperage which in turn activities the firing sequence. The unit does take CR123 battery which is inserted into the pistol grip, but this is only for the use of the integrated green laser sight. The weapon system's primary defensive capability is that it fires a .55 caliber rubber bullet which leaves the devices with 91 joules of muzzle energy (67 ft/lbs), the projectile travels at approximately 400 fps, and has an effective range of about 90 feet. The Defenzia M09 is also capable of deploying highly concentrated OC pepper gel cartridges as well as flashbang/illumination cartridges. The flashbang/illumination round produces 145dB and roughly 5,000,000 candela. In addition to the defensive capabilities of the Defenzia M09, the platform also offers communications capabilities. The M09 is capable of firing SOS signal flares available in various colors such as green, yellow, and red. In addition to this, the M09 can fire a high lumen sky candle useful for night time operations. This application can be deployed in situations where law enforcement agencies are search for suspects or missing persons during times of day and in areas that lack adequate illumination. The sky candle produces a 300 foot dome of light which lasts for about six seconds.
