Your Family Dentist

5.0

Dr. Salm is the best! I am a very apprehensive dental patient (bad experience when I was younger) but he is so easy going and understanding... I will never go to another dentist again! If you are looking for a great dentist that REALLY CARES, Dr. Richard Salm is the dentist for you. When I first went to Your Family Dentist I knew that I need a lot of dental work done and for the first time ever in a dental office I didn't feel pressured (I've been to many different dentists over the past years#. It seemed that at the offices that I went to in the past always gave me a sales pitch. Dr. Salm told me that he would help me in any way that I wanted him to and that I could approach my treatment at whatever pace I felt comfortable with #which is very important to me because I am on a limited budget#. Since then I have had multiple cleaning, several fillings, a root canal and a crown. Dr. Salm's demeanor is very laid back and caring. I would be lying if a said that having dental work done is fun but I will admit that I felt comortable and cared for... everything went well and Dr. Salm even called me later in the day after each appointment to see how I was doing.Parking is a little confusing...there are two parking lots behind the office and apparently either one is okay for patients to use. The office itself is older but cozy...in my opionion it is the dentist that matters the most anyway and not so much the flashiness of the office. It reminds me of the office that I went to for so many years growing up... clean and comfortable. After treatment Dr. Salm will tell you to call him if you have any questions or problems...ON HIS CELL PHONE! I have gone to many offices and this was a first for me. Most dental offices that I have been to have an answering service or a dentist "on-call". For me, it is very important that I am able to get a hold of the dentist who actually did the work on me... another big plus for Dr. Salm!If you are a apprehensive patient #or have kids, or just need a great dentist who you know cares about you) I recommend Dr. Salm for you. I will be telling my family and friends about him because he has made me feel so welcome and comfortable... and as many of you know this is difficult to find in a dentist. ...read more
