I was in the middle of doing a party with one of my Home Party Plans, and it was time to bring out my booking game. To play the game, guests voluntarily shake dice, and pick a envelope numbered with the corresponding number on the dice. Before we play, I announce that each envelope contains a card that reads with one of the following: Book A Party, Win A Prize, or......we'll, I stood there red-faced for 5 minutes, trying to remember what the 3rd option was, and couldn't remember to save my life. I finally gave up and aborted the game before it ever got started. It's no wonder that out of 17 party guests, I got NO future bookings! They all probably thought I was an idiot, not knowing how to play my own game. BTW: I remembered on the way home that the other option was "Win The Grand Prize". Geez! ...read more
