Keller Real Estate Group

5.0

By holdtheolives

I rented an off-campus apartment near UW-Hospital for one year from Keller Real Estate, and I couldn't recommend them any more. They struck a great balance between meeting the needs of their tenants and not stepping on anyone's toes. Anytime I needed repairs done, they sent someone over within a few days. I've heard horror stories about other rental companies in the UW Campus area treating their tenants like dirt and squeezing them for every dollar they're worth - not Keller. I only moved out because I was starting grad school in another state.\r\n\r\nMy only complaint would be that their website doesn't show all of the near-campus properties that they cover - you need to go into their office on West Wash to really see what options they have available. ...read more

Expert Guide to Use Construction Project Management Software

Using a construction project management software can be a daunting task, especially if you are old school sort of person that does not know how to tackle things using technology. If you are faced with the prospect of using a software such as the one described here:https://www.procore.com/en-au/project-management, fear not. It is actually a lot easier than you might think! This is an expert’s guide that will teach you all of the ins and outs and make sure that the project management software that you are using will help take your tasks to a whole new level of efficiency. 1.    Use Templates:Remember, a project management software’s main purpose is to make your job easier for you. If you are getting stressed out it means that you’re doing something wrong. There are a lot of templates that you can use in order to get the job done, templates that are going to make it easier for you to complete rote tasks that need to be done in order to keep a record of things that are happening. These templates are the first things that you should look into in project management software. 2.    Documentation:Once you have gotten the hang of the templates that exist, you should start looking into documentation. This will be relatively easy especially because of the fact that it is related to the first step that you have taken. If you want to be able to document and record all of the things that are happening on the construction site, a project management software can make it a great deal easier for you. This work can be extremely dull and will be tough for you to tackle, but with a software it will become as easy as pie. 3.    Task Allocation: As a project manager, one of the most important things that you are going to have to focus on is task allocation. This is not as easy as it sounds, of course. You need to match the task that is being assigned with the person that will complete it so that the optimal situation is reached, one where everyone is able to reach some kind of amenable agreement about how the work will turn out. The next step to using a project management software is using it to assign tasks to people as efficiently and accurately as possible. 4.    Getting Updated:Now that you have started using a project management software to make your job a little bit easier than it would have been otherwise, it is time for you to start looking into getting updates from the field. This is going to bring a wide variety of the tasks that you previously had to perform on your own into the context of the software that you are using, thus ensuring that you don’t have to worry about the tasks being completed on time. Updates are necessary because they give you a good idea of what is happening out there, and a project management software will make it easier for you to get the updates you need. 5.    Take it to the Team:Now you that you are fully versed on how to use your project management software, it is high time that you introduce it to your team so that all of them can start using it as well. If you want to be able to use the software as efficiently as possible, everyone needs to start using it so that it streamlines the work process for the entire project thus ensuring swift and efficient completion. ...read more
