The office staff explains your bill and what you owe but then 5 months later the biller is calling for more money. The biller won't budge and says the office staff aren't billers. My question is 'Why are they explaining the bill then?" I have a good Medicare and insurance background so I do get Medicare and insurance billing. They are a nonparticipating or nonassigned provider not sure which. THe office staff said nonparticipating and the biller says nonassigned. At any rate you get a check from Medicare so it gets confusing but they want part of that check. I sent them what they say I owe just to get them off my back. Just beware.
