Mark's is open (as of right now) 7 days a week, 11-7 most days, longer on Fridays, and is open Sat-Sun also. The customer service at Mark's goes above and beyond what I've seen at other comic book stores - he and many of his staff (we go there frequently and have dealt with most, if not all, of his staff) are willing to go the extra mile to find what we're looking for, even if it doesn't fall into the realm of things that he normally carries. Mark himself is very knowledgeable about all things comic-related. \t\n\t\nThe main selection of comics in the store is in the center, organized by publisher/title - so it's not hard to find what you're looking for. The bulk of the store is the comics/graphic novels/TPBs, but he also carries RPGs, cards, figures, t-shirts, and statues. Mark has some fabulous sales several times a year, usually near a holiday, as well as a number of smaller, more spontaneous sales.\t\n\t\nOne nice thing about Mark's is that it's fairly family-friendly, and this is reflected in the attitude of the staff toward kids. The clientele at Mark's range from small children to older adults, and all are equally welcome. The overall appearance of the store is fairly typical of the comic book stores I have visited in the Wisconsin/Illinois area; in fact, Mark's is larger and more well-lit than most of the stores I've seen. ...read more

these guys have a lot of comics stacked everywhere in boxes. When I visited them I had to step over pizza boxes on the floor! They have a very limited selection of games and gaming supplies. \t\n\t\nTheir store hours are very short - 3 - 4 hours per day -and their staff really didn't seem like they wanted to be very helpful. they pointed to a table when I asked about a particular title and said if we have any it's over there somewhere. \t\n\t\nUnless i can't find it anywhere else, I'd stay away from this place. ...read more
