A tenant of ours recently moved out of one of our properties, and hired Maidcor to clean for them. I had furnished them with a specific cleaning checklist. When I came to inspect the property, very few things on the checklist were completed. Our tenant asked Maidcor to come out again and complete the checklist. They did come out again, and, still DID NOT complete the items on the checklist. I would not use Maidcor, and I would not recommend them to anyone. ...read more

I turned to Landmark due to their advertising and assured poise that they are the best in the business. The staffing manager at Landmark assured me they could get me placed in a position that I truly wanted. With my skills, experience and education, I wanted a leadership role or perhaps one of senior administrative support. I was called with exciting offers and queries of interest, only to be called with regretful apologies that the position had been filled, etc. After 5 weeks of nothing, and obviously unaware of the current price of fuel, they had me running all over the place to get a urine screen and I was placed in a huge corporation that required deep technical knowledge of a manufacturing system, which I did not possess. One of the the other Landmark temps 'trained' me by giving me a binder of material she had copied from her own and I was then left alone, except for the occasional criticism I seemed to be awfully slow. After 4 days, I was lured to the Landmark office with the promise of a job, only to be asked for my temporary ID and told my skills were lacking. They then called with a 'terrific' offer of working in a call center doing customer service with hours that ranged from 8a to 8p and, weekends. The two specific things I had informed Landmark was, no evening or weekend hours. I'm beginning to feel the staffing managers don't listen, and have their own agenda which is simply placement with no regard to skills, preferences or salary requirements. Obviously, the commission and pressure for placement must be intense to the exclusion of what is considered a good match for both employee and employer. Stay away. You'll be nothing but a piece of meat in the Landmark job meat grinder! And, I can't imagine what the employers must think when they're faced with potential hires that have no desire or capacity for the job that needs to be filled.
