Success Story

 I took one of the analysis's to a customer with a proposal.  She had contacted her current provider with some questions and thought she had all the answers.  They explained the $100.00 fee per year. Told her that her 2085 was compliant and that she was secure.  I asked her where her security book was and she said NorthAmerican BankCard told her it was not necessary for her to have one. All she needed to know was that she was compliant.  I asked her to call them while I was there and we could not find a live person that knew what we were talking about.  I asked her if she wanted to deal with someone that could not answer her questions or a local person that wanted to help her business. Why do people marry in June?

Have you ever wondered why June is such a popular month for weddings? For centuries, brides and grooms have been marrying in the month of June for several reasons, and many of them are not so pleasant. It is said that the Romans married in June because they believed that the month of June was dedicated to Juno, who was the goddess of marriage (Sexton, 2007). It has also been rumored that June in medieval times was close to when people had their yearly baths so the bride still smelled OK.  However this is just a tall tale according to experts and it is simply not true (Snell, 2009).  It is more likely; however, that there was a more practical, if not less romantic, reason why couples married in June.  It was believed that if the bride were to conceive in June, then a birth would not interfere with harvest time (Sexton, 2007).   The poor girl could still help out in the fall before the birth and she could help with the harvest in the fall following the birth (unless there was another expectant birth). My theory about June weddings in contemporary times is that a young couple could marry after graduation in June. Whether it be after high school (not as popular anymore) or after college, June is the month for graduations as well as weddings. Because we are so tradition oriented when it comes to ceremony and worship in general, it is possible that brides and grooms are just following in the footsteps of ancestors before them. Beware of this contractor. I hired him to paint the exterior of my home because he said all the right things of what needed to get done in addition to handing me his card that stated he was licensed, bonded, & insured. Not only did he not do what he said he would do, e.g. power wash the exterior & caulk the wood before he painted , but he brought a worker to my home that literally took a spray gun to my home without putting down drop cloths or protective covers over my windows. I ,then,looked him up on the L&I website only to find out that in fact his license, bond and insurance had been suspended over a year ago. I fired him and asked for my money back as well as the money to pay for the damages to my home. Beyond ordering the repair of my roof (for which he hasn't paid for yet) and giving me $500, Mr. Kim has refused to pay me the remainder of money totaling $2900.Stay away - he lies & doesn't really care about his customers & check the L&I website for TRUE information. ...read more
