I've been going to Picasso for five years now and service there is excellent and the prices there are affordable and you leave with amazing, stylish, healthy hair. Everyone there is professionally trained, Sonia (the owner) is practically always there overseeing everything and is super friendly. The environment of the salon is calm and relaxing. I don't know what else you could ask for, its everything and more. Why go to Super cuts when you could go to Picasso and pay $5 more for a professional hair cut and why go to Gene Juarez when you would spend less at Picasso for the same quality...Its the perfect salon. ...read more

I signed up for a membership with Seattle Sun Tan in Feb 2009. When the staff members weren't talking to their friends who were hanging out or on their cell phone the service wasn't too bad. They did manage to mix my account up with another account which caused my account to say that I had not paid even though my credit card was charged. They were never able to fix this so I take back what I said about the service not being too bad. I canceled my membership in May 2009 and they have continued to bill me for the past 3 months. I have called and visited the store multiple times to resolve this and every time they tell me the problem is fixed...then I get billed again. I have been told that the manger will contact me to take care of this. She never does. DO NOT go to Seattle Sun Tan unless you want to get ripped off. ...read more

Ask for a full tour - you will not believe what is all there! 10,000 sq. ft. of first class spa! One can only conclude a upper end Marriott hotel demands the same from a spa within! Very fair pricing for what is provided in service, products and amenities. As a man the versatility begs me to go again for many reasons: there is a mens high end barber, two couples related service rooms, multiple spa services and medical spa services - hair removal and sun damage are my needs and they claim to have the best equipment for both. I had brazillian wax done here a month or so ago and the results were great. I had an asian lady do the service for me and she was very thorough. She made sure to get all the hair off and didn't miss patches like I've had done at other places. The wax they use is a little more painful that what other places use though. Most places smear on the wax and then place that strip of cloth and then pull. This place uses a wax that is dries on the skin and is pulled of just like that which is kind of neat but it hurts a little bit more. But it is a lot quicker. ...read more

I had a brazillian waxing done here a few months ago and it was only OK. This is more of a hair salon than a spa. The room is hidden off in the back and not relaxing. I was made to wonder how much waxing experience the girl who worked on me actually had. At one point during my appointment she looked down at me and was like "now where does this one go?" trying to figure out where to place the next glob of wax and the little strip that goes with it.
