I still have all the parts you purchased and you are welcome to pick them up anytime which I let you know. I AGREE THAT JOSH EWING IS A TALENTED FABRICATOR. HOWEVER I QUESTION IS INTEGRITY AND HONESTY. I GAVE JOSH $3500 DOLLARS TO START A BIKE BUILD (ROLLING CHASSIS WAS COMPLETE). AT MY REQUEST THE BUILD WAS STOPPED BUT I EXPECTED AT LEAST THE COMPLETED ROLLING BIKE WHICH WAS DONE OR MY MONEY. I GOT NEITHER!!! REPEATED CALLS FOR 1.5 YEARS FINALLY SPOKE TO HIM. HE CLAIMED HE WOULD MAKE IT RIGHT WITH ANOTHER PROJECT...THEN NOTHING. 4 YEARS LATER...NO ANSWERS NO MONEY. I HOPE KARMA CATCHES UP WITH YOU JOSH EWING.... Well.... I've known Josh for a long time. Lets just say I might have even pushed him to go into business on his own. Aside from that, I finally got my Dyna in 2011. I didn't like the "just rolled out of the showroom" look. So, I only had one person that came to mind...Josh. I knew that no matter what I asked of him, he could do. He picked my bike up a couple months ago and I will be receiving it soon. I can write a great review even though I haven't seen the bike yet. I want it to be a surprise. Josh , owner of Ewing Kustoms, is undoubtedly the best at what he does, and he is a very honest and trust worthy individual. He usually has his hands for, for obvious reasons, but always stays true to his word and produces masterpiece after masterpiece. I have know Josh for about 6 years, and know that if he wasn't so humble and private, he could go as far as he wanted to in his profession. Give Josh and Ewing Kustoms as shot. I have seen quite a bit about this bike building company mainly on the internet and in a few magazines and have always been impressed with the quality and attention to detail. I first heard about them when a black and green Flathead came out in Easyriders, which should have been the cover bike by the way, and have randomly checked for any new stuff coming out. Each bike I have seen has a totally different style from the last and that is hard to find in a builder. Most builders really stick to one style and build the same bike over and over while changing it maybe 20 percent. I have never met the guys at the shop but have heard they are pretty laid back and easy to deal with. If I could have any shop in the world build me a bike they are definitely among the top ten. I know I would be getting some real quality and professional work. I hope to see something from you guys soon. I agree with all the reviews. Josh is an outstanding craftsman. I met him at his shop and was blown away by his work. It pains me to write this as I like Josh. However... I ordered one of his custom made metal shrinker stretcher stands over a year ago. I sent Josh $400.00 and never recieved it. After many, many emails and phone calls, Josh is yet to deliver the part, or return my $400.00 He keeps saying he will ship it the next day but never does. He mentioned to me he was having health problems. If so, just send my money back. I believed his health explanation and was going to just forget about my $400.00 but when I tried to contact him again a few times to get even a mere picture of the shrinker stand (so I could make the stand myself), he never returns emails or calls. Josh, I came to you with a car part and made a stencil for you 2 months ago. I have stopped by your shop and talked to you about that part sevral times. The phone number listed shows your mailbox is full. I could have had that part overnight express next day delivery but wanted to welcome you to this community and provide you with some work. I do undrestand that " good Guys" probably like you that are swamped with requests and are genuinly good people have a hard time saying they dont have time for a given project, i am sure you want to please people.
