I really like this store normally. I wasn't as impressed with the cake decorator for a recent custom cake I purchased. The lady seemed less than enthused and even lesser confident about creating my custom cake and I had given her examples of what I wanted the cake to look like. It was a simple headstone shaped cake with some text for a 40th birthday. It was so simple I contemplated making it myself but I didn't want to botch it. Little did I know. \t\nThe only decor on the cake I requested was a long stem rose. The decorator said I should just go purchase a real rose and lay it across the cake. That should have been my sign to go elsewhere but purchase a real rose is what I did and it looked fine.\t\n The cake itself was fine and tasted good. The text and decorating on the cake is what was terrible.
