Lions Way Martial Arts

5.0

By Jennifer H.

This place is wonderful! I had my kids in another martial arts school in Kent that I was very unhappy with. Unfortunately I had signed a 6 month contract and couldn’t get out, they had so many hidden fees and “upgrades” it was crazy. Found out about Lion’s Way Martial Arts through a friend of my daughter and as soon as we could we switched. My kids really love the change, the owner is so great with them and best of all there are no hidden fees or upgrade programs! I highly recommend this place! Jennifer H. Mother of 2 :-) ...read more

Introducing the... Piano Artistry Studio!

I am thrilled to announce that the Piano Artistry Studio is finally making it's presence know in the Internet! When I started teaching piano almost ten years ago, I realized two things: 1). I wanted to continue teaching piano for the rest of my life, and... 2). I wanted my students to be challenged while being supported... ...to try their best to do an amazing job while recognizing that they're learning - mistakes are okay... ...and to learn that making mistakes/struggling with a new concept isn't failure. Instead, giving up can be seen as a form of failure, but continuing to work hard even when things are difficult? That is success. And while we're talking about success... Finally, I have been able to truly open up my own piano studio in Kent - grand piano and all! At this point, I do still have a few openings for my fall roster of students, so if you - or a friend! - know someone who wants to study piano, please feel free to pass on my information. Because summer can become so hectic, I try to have completed the process of new student interviews and have a final roster before school ends for the year. Just to provide a little motivation... The next three students to sign up with me for fall will have their $50 registration fee completely waived! ...read more
