DID YOU KNOW? As a small business owner who has a fleet of dump trucks and heavy equipment, my curiosity got the best of me and I calculated how many dump trucks it takes to haul $1 Billion dollars. Do you have a guess??? Consider that $1 bills are issued to the bank in strapped bundles of 100. If you stacked these bundles in the back of dump trucks a Billion dollars would fill 82 dump trucks, a bumper to bumper line over 2,000 feet long. If a Trillion is still a 1,000 Billion, it would take 82,000 dump trucks stacked with bundled cash to haul 1 Trillion dollars. If you lined these up bumper to bumper the line would stretch over 388 miles, and the stacked cash would have filled the old Kingdome in Seattle 83% full. According to USA Today's Dennis Cauchon, $2 Trillion is $17,000 for every household in the United States. That's a lot of OUR money spent by government. Thought you might want to know...
