Got the worst Valentine flowers I have ever received. My husband ordered an arrangement from FTD for $65 and I got a pathetic basket from Adrian's of daisies with a few lilies - only one of which was open, two bent irises, neither of which were open, and a few unopened carnation buds. When he showed me the picture on FTD of what he had ordered, I was stunned. What I received was NOTHING like it. FTD refused to refund the cost because Adrian refuses to take responsibility for the mess they delivered. OH, and the remainder of the lilies and irises died before opening - despite getting watered daily. I would have been mad if my husband had spend $25 on this mess - spending $65 was infuriatingly insulting. All in all a pathetic experience and neither FTD nor Adrian cared enough to make reparation.Too bad you have to give at least one star- they deserve negative stars. ...read more

Everett Floral And Gift

1.0

By AKNeubert at Citysearch

I ordered flowers from Everett Floral for my wedding. I was unsure of having flowers at all but was being gifted them from a friend of the family. I had a consultation and things seemed to go well. I love peach roses (orangey peach) and wanted those in my bouquet along with pastel yellow and white. I pointed at picture after picture in books. On the consultation form he wrote "fall colors" several times, as that was the look I was going for in my wedding. For the altar flowers I picked out a pretty white ribbon. The day of the wedding came and so did the flowers. They were all wrong. The bouquet was pink, white, and bright yellow. Not the "peach" and pastel we had agreed upon. AND the altar flowers had big ugly yellow bows on them, not the white I had selected. On the day I didn't let it bother me. I was happy and had a lovely wedding. Then I started to get pictures back and the more I looked at the bouquet in my hands the more and more it started to bother me. So I sent an email to Everett Floral to let them know my disappointment. I thought it would be better and maybe I'd get some kind of closure rather than letting it stew. I wasn't looking for any kind of refund, as I did not pay for the flowers myself. I wrote that I was disappointed in receiving pink flowers when I requested peach and that the bows were wrong. I also let him know I would not be referring his shop to any of my friends who are getting married in the future because I was dissatisfied. Here is the exact response I received. "Dear *****, The roses are peach not pink. Get a color chart. Sincerely, *****" Talk about UNPROFESSIONAL! I went ahead and Google searched "peach roses" to see what would come up. The results ranged from the pretty orange I wanted, to a salmony-pink. I didn't realize there were so many varieties of peach roses, but as the PROFESSIONAL FLORIST, he should have said something during our consultation as I was talking about "fall colors" over and over. And regardless of that fact, his response was inappropriate, rude, unprofessional, and uncalled for. He also didn't address the mistake with the ribbon. Whether or not what I received were "peach" roses, he should have handled the situation with more professionalism. ...read more
