I finally want to address Train after all of this time. He is referring to adjustment strings on his Duette? shades which are part of the common maintenance associated with this product. We do not charge for service calls within one year of purchase and Hunter Douglas warrants this product against manufacturing defects for the lifetime of their products excluding normal wear and tear. He later brought his shade in for repairs and we sent them to Hunter Douglas. We did not charge him for shipping and handling and Hunter Douglas did not charge him for the repairs. ...read more
