Owner posted an ad on Craigslist said he owns this business. I answered the ad on April 12, 2018 needing a job completed in Newport News, VA Lees Mills Condominiums. I text him pictures and a list of items I wanted repaired. We agreed $450 for labor. I would pay for supplies at Lowes. I paid his personal Pen Pal account $225 up front. Balance would be paid on job completion. We agreed he would go to Hampton Lowes and pick up the items on Friday Apr 13, 2018 - No show. Then Saturday April 14, 2018 at 10 - No show. I call him after 12pm he says call Lowes and pay for the items he ordered. I felt he was scamming me so I asked him for a refund of my money. He text me that he dont want to deal with me either. I said OK. Refund $225. His last text said that $225 was for services rendered. He did his part. He said I decided not to pay for materials. I am paying for his time and energy cost. I asked him what service? Where was the service performed that cost labor $225? As of today he has not performed the job /refuse to refund my $225 and he still has not given a date/time to do the job or refund my $225. I would not recommend this business to anyone.
