I had the opposite experience with Doug Walczak at Golfsmith. He was extremely helpful in helping me exchange a gift. In fact, he gave me several options, none of which were bad. It's unfortunate that some people have to bad mouth others. But, as learned during my former, part-time career in retail, it's more often the customer that is at fault rather thatn the store employees. Why? This store is a prime example of what a retail outlet should not be. The sales staff don't have any knowledge of products they sell, promotions the store carries, and even don't know how to operate the POS cash register properly. I just went to the store to exchange a product and they completely messed up the transaction. I would like to specifically mention an obnoxious employee by the name Doug Walczak, who apparently is the store manager. He was incompetent, insolent in his behavior, downright unprofessional, and acted like an absolute jerk. No wonder overall customer service in this store is abysmal. ...read more
