Bill came out very quickly and helped us make a decision about replacing our fridge. He diagnosed a non-functioning defrost timer which Whirlpool had stopped making and had none in stock. He was quick, efficient and just very empathetic about our situation and by hand defrosting our fridge, we were able to use it for another 10 days until we got a new one. Our heat pump motor failed and B & B was going to charge $1,800 to replace it and clean the blower motor. I had the technicians ask their front office for the motor part number so that I could look it up online but the office wouldn’t give it. Red flag. I figured I’d get a second estimate and called Hart’s who, according to neighbors, is very honest. They confirmed the diagnosis and are charging about $680 instead of $1,800. (They said we could buy a whole new system for $1,800!) They were very nice and proud of their honesty. So we saved $1,200. These guys talks good. But, they cheat.... He told me to replace a motor and said it costs $240.00 (only for parts as the labor is supposed to be covered under annual warrenty contract). After replacement of the part, I found out that the part actually cost around 100.00. I just get sick of people who cheat to conduct their business ...
