Just spent quite a bit of cash at Kelly's Tavern where Virginia Novelty has games on location. Most of the machines were barely playable. They all took your money, no problem. The pinballs they had there (Revenge From Mars & Southpark) were playable but just barely. VERY dirty playfields, pop bumpers that didn't pop, many switches that didn't work, lots of lights out, software never upgraded to the latest version (RFM was still running 1.0). Obviously, these guys don't have a technician on staff to maintain these machines that they operate. If they do, he is terrible. I called them to let them know about the neglected machines and they seemed receptive to having them fixed. I will check back in a few months and see if anything has changed. ...read more

Every time I walk in to Planet Video the staff is courteous and helpful. It has a definite neighborhood feel. On the downside the selection for small budget movies is slim. As much as I like the staff , if you don't have the movie I want I am going to Hollywood Video. ...read more
