It's taken me two years to come up with the words to explain how this company almost RUINED my wedding. We had reserved and paid for tents, tables, chairs and HEATERS for our 11-11-11 wedding. When my husband went to pay the balance a week before the wedding, they tacked on a $250 fee (not in the contract) JUST IN CASE they had to carry the items further than a certain range. The fee would be refunded if they didn't have to carry the items. (husband explained that they only had to unload items, that's it, but they still insisted on tacking on this fee) My husband paid this fee on top of the charges for items, since this was the deadline to get rentals. I called the next business day to let them know that most people are on a budget and they should probably let their clients know about these fees when they make the reservation. The woman on the phone (she had a heavy accent, not sure where the accent was from, doesn't matter where, I just want you to know who did this). She was not nice or understanding. I asked her to keep the reservation as is, just let people know ahead of time, next time. She then contacted my husband 20 minutes later to tell him that "they didn't think that they could help us in the manner that we needed" and that our money would be refunded to our card. THIS WAS A MONDAY AND OUR WEDDING WAS THAT FRIDAY!! So that money was in credit card "purgatory" and we had no way of renting tables, chairs, tent and heaters until the money was back on our card. Now, I have worked in the wedding industry for OVER 10 years. I have NEVER canceled on a bride. I may have charged her more for being a pain, but never ever have I canceled. Our wedding was OUTSIDE and it was 40 degrees. No tents. No heaters. We had to rent from the base MWR (only tables and chairs were available) and make a huge bonfire to warm guests. It was SO cold people couldn't stay the whole time. However, our wedding was still featured in a magazine and looked absolutely beautiful in the pictures, but all of the decorations for the tent were not able to be used and that was hundreds of dollars, wasted. If you want peace of mind about your wedding DO NOT CHOOSE THIS COMPANY! They were heartless and emotionless when I called crying that they were ruining one of the biggest days of our lives. I am telling EVERYONE I know about this. AND, don't forget, I am in this industry locally. I have weddings EVERY weekend. I also urge you to not do business with Best Way Tax Service. The manager of the team of preparers did our 2010 tax return. Unbeknownst to us, he made two very careless mistakes. We were just contacted by the IRS notifying us of the mistakes and charging us a penalty of approximately 2/3 the estimated change in tax amount. I called and spoke with him and was basically told, don't worry about it, the IRS is way behind and understaffed. We'll just send in an amended return. He promised to call me and schedule a time we would prepare the amended return. 4 weeks later I am STILL waiting on that call. My husband and I have called and emailed. He refuses to respond to any communication. He is basically leaving us alone to defend ourselves to the IRS without ANY assistance for mistakes they made. I am now trying to reach his boss. But I can imagine that I won't reach him either. This tax service is unethical and a sham. Please don't waste your time, else you'll be defending yourself. ...read more

People Please do not file your taxes with best way they charge people three hundred and fifty dollars to file your taxes with them. What makes it so bad best way doesn't even tell you up front how much it's going to cost until after the fact. ...read more
