Planning for an important event can be very nerve-wracking. Renting tents is something that many people have little to no experience with and often have a lot of questions. Once you know what to expect when it comes to the tent rental, that will lower the amount of stress you feel toward the party preparations.

Q: Does the tent company come out to my house to tell me if the tent will set up properly in the area I have chosen?
A: The larger tent companies typically do come out to the designated location to make sure that the land is flat and that the tent will set up properly. If you are renting from a smaller rental company they may not come out to the location.

Q: How do I know what size tent I need?
A: The size of tent needed is dependent on how many people or tables you are wanting it to cover. The typical 30 x 30 tent will cover roughly 9 tables and 72 chairs. Tents come in sizes ranging from 30 x 30 all the way up to 40 x 120, so the tent size options are vast. 

Q: What should I do to prepare the area for the tent set up?
A: Move everything out of the area and make sure that the rental company can easily get to the location with the tent supplies.

Q: How long does it take to set up the tent?
A: It only takes about an hour to set up the tent depending on its size. Tents should be set up a few hours before any event so that the tables, chairs, and food service can be properly set up.

Q: Does it cost extra to have side walls on the tent?
A: Yes. Standard tent rental only includes the top portion of the tent. Side walls can be rented for an additional fee.
