I had a patio door that had rot around the frame. I had planned on replacing the whole door. I had been talking with the owner Jake. He could not find the correct size door. Therefore he said that he could take out the door and fix the rot around it and put the same door back in. So when the job was done I paid him. Later that night my renter noticed that my back door still had a gap underneath and the putty that he had used to patch up a bad spot on the door was not working like he said it would. Of course I called and my renter called and he wouldn't answer the phone even after I left him messages. He finally called my renter a day or two later to set up a day to come out and fix it. My renter waited there all day and he never showed, never called and wouldn't answer our calls. When he finally came back out he did a patch up job and the work is still not right. So I called him again and left a message. It has been several days and not a return call yet. I feel he takes your money and runs then he doesn't care to come back to fix any issues you may find. Billy McDaniels was hired to build our custom Home. He did not build our home as per plans. He changed the interior and exterior as he decided allone. He excluded many items that were on the plans. He also shorted our home by 219 sq ft. He also did not perform as per contract in many areas only to save him money. He is a poor contractor and I would advise anyone not to hire him because you will be left withan improper house, alot not passing code and a huge additional cost and possibily not able to even move in your home.
