I recieved an American Express Gift from on of my Customers. I used it at the checkout for Office Supplies along with a Coupon from the store. The clerk failed to enter my Coupon and had to cancel my transaction, after swiping my Gift Card. After the line formed half way down the aisle, which it ALWAYS does due to lack of staff, she "Claimed" she put the $50.00 back on my card. The "Untrained" Manager told me it would be available the next business day. It has now been over a week later, and I seem to be out my $50.00! Perfect time for the Holidays huh? When I went back to the store, a different Manager RUDELY told me it would take 7 business days. The staff is ALWAYS "Stressed Out" because of the lines that form and only ONE checkout person. I will NEVER go to Office Depot again and will caution all of my Clients the same! I'm out $50.00 and they will not do anything about it! ...read more
