I've been going to the Sports Den for over a decade, and I'll go there decades to come. They are awesome! They have the best selection of modern ski gear that I've seen in Salt Lake. This season one of the guys there suggested a fat powder rocker ski that I wasn't too sure about because it didn't seem like it was going to be all-mountain enough for me. I like to have one setup for all conditions which can get tricky. You usually end up having to compromise performance somewhere in some conditions. But the sales guy swore that these would be find on hardpack, and sure enough, they rip groomers like a champ. I'm surprised, and really happy with Sports Den for suggesting a great ski. I just got some new boots from the sports den in salt lake city. This shop is by far the best ski shop I have ever been to. The boot fitter (Luke Skywalker) knew exactly how to fit my boots properly. I have never had a boot fit so well as the ones they fit for me. I have shopped and worked with many of the ski shops in Utah and will never go anywhere else. The staff is very professional and they know exactly how to please customers. In addition to great products and service they have the best tune in town. I've been going to Sports Den for years. I have difficult feet and they are the only people in town that have had success finding boots for me. Great variety. Even better prices. Don't be misled by the location to think they are overpriced. I have found they have the best prices in town and online. Do your homework. This place rocks.
