On two separate occasions I called this company for a quote. Their rates seemed competitive and I liked that they billed by the quarter hour and started when they arrived in location. They stressed both times that they did this for their customers so that I would not be paying for their workers were not doing anything. They did also state they would have 30 minutes of travel time to and from their company to me. I assumed since they stated that billing starts when they get to me that the 30 minutes was customary for all jobs and that anything over that was considered on the clock. When I went over this with their scheduler it seemed like my understanding was correct. On moving day we came to find that this extra hour was not in fact customary and they bill you the minute they start driving to your location, plus anytime with you.
