I have been to this place several times, but only because of it's proximity to my house. You certainly don't go for the customer service as they are usually very unfriendly, but get the ""job"" done. Yesterday, though, we were treated so poorly that I will NEVER go back. I took my 72 year old Mother there to treat her to her first pedicure. She accidentally knocked over a bottle of used nail polish & they were very rude to her & made her sit in a chair with no water in the basin for 10 minutes while they cleaned it up, dirty looks and all. They gave her a very sloppy pedicure & then charged FULL PRICE for the cost of the polish. Rude, rude people & mediocre nail work. Save your money & your business for a nicer place. LA Nails is close to Orem
One of the surprises of operating a nail salon is the vast area from which clients come. Orem, UT is no exception. Our nail salon is in American Fork, but we see many clients from Orem on a regular basis. Why would that be? Frankly we are not sure. I suppose we should ask them. A lot of Orem-ites have told us they bypass other nail salons in Orem and come to ours because they like the service better. That’s a very good feeling but I’m not sure it’s true of every client. Some perhaps live in Orem and work in American Fork and before or after work they will get a manicure or pedicure. Rather than go to a spa in Orem they simply drop by our salon. That would make sense. Others could be looking in the Yellow Pages for Orem nail salons and happen to be attracted to our salon for some reason. It could be when sitting in their favorite hair salon in Orem or tanning salon in Orem and using their smartphone they discovered our website. Who knows! In any case rather than going to a nail salon in Orem we know for sure they are going to a nail salon (ours) in American Fork. So how far is American Fork from Orem? If you take the furthest distance from our salon to edge of South Orem it’s around 10 miles. It would take about 20 to 25 minutes on the back road like Geneva road to get to the salon. While in American Fork you could shop at Fresh Market, which we are right next to, or go to Walmart, Best Buy, Home Depot, Lowes, and even do your laundry. You could eat at many nice restaurants like Thai Village, or Texas Roadhouse and even get coffee at Starbucks. Sure it’s an extra drive to American Fork, but if you haven’t tried our salon you owe it to yourself to make the drive and experience what you are missing.
