y nice and charming until there is a problem. Then they do not stand behind their work...only behind paperwork. They led a 10 year little girl with alopecia to believe she would have wonderful eyebrows. ..charged 500.00 and after a week, the eyebrows were gone. And after inquiring about another service. ..we would need to pay an additional 150.00....and was directed to the paperwork we signed. Which does stat...there is a fee for touch ups. I had the worst experience at this shop! Mel is a tattoo artist and permanent tech. She is a horrible artist. She says she knows what she is doing, she is suppose to a permanent make-up tech and she might be ,but she needs a lot more practice and I hope you are not her next victim!!!!. I had my eyebrows tattooed on by her in March 2014 and it looked like a 2 year old did them with a marker. She charged me $400 with is very high priced, I have since then called several places that do them and prices range around $275-$300. She had done a couple of tattoos for me so I trusted her to do my permanent make-up. While she was doing them I kept asking her if they were going to look natural, of course she had assured me that they would. After 5 days and they finally healed, I had realized that the way they were put on the look of the hairs were pointed straight up to my forehead!! I freaked out. I made an appointment with another permanent make-up place and had them fixed. Cost me another $300. I called the owner of American Tattoo Co., a guy named Shane and he said that he would speak to her about it but no matter what I was a good customer and he would make sure he would make this right for me. Well... He is a liar and he took her side and told me that they looked fine. I wanted to try this place out before the holidays because I'm traveling north for Christams and wanted to show off to my friends. I had heard that the owner was the most talented tattoo artist ever. He is for other people, but I guess he was having a bad hang over day, or his old lady was bitchy to him one too many times, but for what ever reason, he totally gave me the wrong tattoo. It was on my low back, so I couldn't see it until it was finished. The colors he used were all bad, and his wife kept telling me that it was what I wanted. WRONG! She seemed really nice, but I guess that they can't tell the difference between a bird and a dragon because what he gave me looked like a huge dead lizard, not the phoenix bird that I had ordered. Now I'm looking for a tatto removal joint. They wouldn't even reimburse me for their blunder. Not a place I'd recommend. ...read more
