Teachers love their kids here! I did notice that parents who complained about the daycare were often the "over protective, over bearing" kind (such as getting angry when their son tripped and fell in the wood chips during recess). Old owner was very sweet and loved the kids. New owner didn't even know their names and did not know what she was talking about when she gave me a tour. You could tell she was struggling to inform me about a facility she owns and runs. Personally, I loved sending my child here because of his teachers. They were very loving and made him feel at ease. Only real complaint I have is cost as I had to pay for the full week whether my child came or not, unlike La Petite and some other local daycares. ...read more

Both of children attend CELC, we have been there since 2004. I love it and so do my kids. \t\n\t\nMy oldest on numerous occasions has asked me to come back later because she does not want to leave.\t\n\t\n My youngest is a baby and she is always happy, clean and has a dry diaper when I pick her up. The teachers love these children they hug and snuggle them. In the baby room they get down on the floor and play with the kids. \t\n\t\nIt sucks having to leave your children to go to work but it is nice knowing that they have teachers that are warm, kind hearted and treat them like their own. ...read more

There is no doubt that the teachers in the classrooms love the kids and thrive on their learning and care. However, the administration room certainly has for improvement in terms of handling interactions with parents and delivering clear communications.
