I've been getting mani/pedi's for 20 years now. I've gotten nicked and a cuticle cut too short before. I NEVER had my big toe swollen and painful immediately and it's been 6 days now. I felt something and I thought that I had a piece of nail stuck but I don't. I've cut away a painful portion of it but it didn't help. I spent the weekend at the pool in chlorine hoping that would help and it probably did some but it's still painful tight red and swollen. Also I had my lip waxed and got a rash and they missed like a 1/4 of it!
