After being lied to at the Frisco location, I found the car I wanted at the Irving location. Went to have a preliminary discussion, was very clear I had only an hour. Nearly 3 hours later, they are pressing me to sign paperwork, leave my car and drive off in a new vehicle. I ended up walking out. They apologized and offered me a free 3-year maintenance agreement and some other items that made it worth going back the next day to buy the car. Then I found out I actually paid for the maintenance program, not them. And it was not the "full coverage" they'd described - it is oil changes only. So I'm paying $700 + financing charges for some oil changes. These people are liars through and through. I may buy a Honda again, but it won't be from these shysters. ...read more

I love my Honda. It is a 2004 and still looks good, drives great, and people try to buy it from me quite often. I can not afford a new car since my husband and I are retired (ALTHOUGH "he" did get a new Ford last year). Our son had a Honda, lived in Colorado, driving it 60 miles every day to work across mountains. The Honda had over 200,000 miles when he gave it away. Honda has always been an industry leader when it comes to re-sale value. This could be due to the fact that safety is something that is taken very seriously. For example the Honda Odyssey was one of the safest minivans rated on Consumer Reports for 2010. No matter which trim, Honda has 5 star safety ratings on its latest models. Vehicle Stability Assist Also known as VSA is a safety feature that allows the driver to have excellent handling and stability while on the road. VSA compensates for oversteering or undrsteering, and assists the driver in staying on the right path. An example of when this would be useful is in a situation when the driver has poor traction, for example in rain, or snow, or any type of bad weather. If the driver suddenly oversteers, the VSA will kick in and improve stability of the car. Anti-Lock Break System This is another great safety feature that prevents the breaks from locking up, this enhances steering contol, while the breaks are applied. Also known as the ABS, this is another safety feature that comes standard in all Honda models. Tire Pressure Monitoring System This system is also known as TPMS and allows drivers to monitor the tire pressure and temperature in all four tires. When it gets cold, typically the TPMS light will turn on, warning the driver that the tire pressure is low. One can expect to lose a couple of pounds, when it gets cold, but if the weather is going to go back to normal, the tires will go back to its normal pressure on its own. TPMS is a great tool that warns you if you happen to have a nail on your tire, something that you would not otherwise notice easily. These are only a couple of different safety features that make Honda a safe car to drive.
