We moved almost 2 months ago, and I can say without hesitation that they have the worst people managing this place. Almost all the street access have 2 doors, and you are supposed to have a fob key that allows you to get through them. Out of the 6 street access only 2 doors work the other 4 have no security. When you ask them when they are going to get fixed they won't give you a date. And not only that, they tell you that if robbers want to get in, the doors won't matter! So all those doors that give you the sense of security are total false advertisement, how on earth they cannot give you a "fixing date" I don't know about other people out there but when something brakes and you call a professional to fix it, they tell you a date when things are going to get fixed. ...read more

Houston Clean & Safe Pool Services

I inherited a house with pool. Though the backyard is beautiful but the old pool ruin the scene. I called Houston Clean & Safe Pool Services for repair and cleaning service. It takes a while to finish the project but soon as they completed the reconstruction I saw how the entire place turn into a resort-like! The service was quite expensive but the result is worth the price. ...read more

Hammerly Villa Apartments

I have NEVER lived in a worse apartment complex. The place is always dirty (trash everywhere). People have parties at all hours of the day and night and parking is horrendous. My car was damaged due to the poor parking conditions. A large truck tried to park next to my car in a space that was not a parking spot and hit my car doing over $1,300 worth of damage. I can no longer drive my car. The front office is also known to do things without giving ANY notice. Half of the parking lot was closed off one night without any notification to the residents. Many did not know what to do and simply blocked in other cars in order to park. The water will also be turned off without notice being given. Things are constantly breaking in different areas around the apartment complex. In addition, you may be offered a good initial rent but the rent will be raised on you as soon as they can. After our year contract was up we were charged an additional $50 a month to do a 6 month lease. Once that was over we were charged an additional $70 a month to do a month to month lease (we were trying to move out and month to month was the only way to do so). After a few months we gave out move out date. As soon as we gave that we were asked to pay an additional $40 a month simply because we gave our required 60 day notice. This is the absolute worst apartment complex I have ever lived in. The maintenance staff are the only people that I have anything good to say about. They are very kind. The apartment manager is not reliable and rude (he will commit to do things and not follow through). ...read more

WHAT AFFECTS PROPERTY VALUES?

Some the features that increase property values are obvious-like a remodeled bathroom, a modern kitchen, or a sought-after neighborhood. But here are a few features and circumstances you have not have realized can affect property values. The neighbors: Not every neighborhood or community has an HOA that can keep the neighbors from going overboard with decorations or neglecting to care for their home. Homes adjacent to crazy neighbors can potentially be undervalued. Trendy groceries and coffee: Recent statistics suggest that if your home is a short walk from popular grocery stores like Whole Foods or coffee chains like Starbucks, it can actually appreciate faster than the national average. Mature trees: A big beautiful tree in the front yard is enviable, and it's not something that can be easily added to any home. Homes with mature trees tend to get a little boost in value. Parking: This isn't too much of an issue if you live in the suburbs or in a rural area, but residents in dense cities can have real problems with parking, and homeowners might need to rent a spot just to guarantee a place to park each night. That's why having guaranteed parking in urban areas will raise property values. The front entrance: First impressions matter to buyers-many will cross a home off their list within 10 seconds of stepping through the front door. An appealing front door, a friendly entryway, and a functioning doorbell are all necessities for getting top dollar. ...read more
