Best Buy

Never go to Best Buy Bunker Hill to purchase home appliances it's a NIGHTMARE!! \t\nWe recently moved into a new home and decided to purchase a refrigerator from this Best Buy on March 24, 2012 for $1500. The sales associate advised that she did not have the refrigerator model we wanted at the Houston location, but that they would have it in stock at their Dallas warehouse and it could be delivered on or around March 27-28, 2012. We get a phone call on March 27, 2012 telling us that the refrigerator we ordered would not be ready until April 9, 2012. This upset us very much since we had to be without a refrigerator for another 12 days. The only offer we received after they delayed the installation and the inconvenience they put us through was to pay them an ADDITIONAL $800 for a temporary scratch and dent refrigerator to be placed in our home as a solution to the problem they created. Delivery rolls around on April 9, 2012 for the scratch and dent to arrive in our home. It was scheduled to arrive between 2:30pm-4:30pm. The temporary refrigerator that we had to PAY FOR did not arrive at our home for installation until 8:30PM that night! To make matters worse, Best Buy called us again on April 7, 2012 to let us know that the refrigerator was not in the Dallas distribution center and would have to be ordered pushing the delivery date YET AGAIN to April 19, 2012. This has been the worst customer experience I have ever received. We called Best Buy at Bunker Hill to address the situation and the first customer service rep hung the phone up. The second time I called to ask to speak with a manager I had to threaten with coming into the store to have the matter addressed and a manager was finally put on the line for me to speak with. I do not like having to take extreme measures to have something addressed if it is clearly the responsibility of the company we are dealing with. \t\n\t\nDuring my conversation with the manager, he would not even let me explain what the situation we were going through was like. He kept saying that his employees had filled him in on the situation and that he understood why we were upset. He clearly did not want to listen to what I had to say about the horrible experience we were having, but maybe he should try going through it so that we can get a little perspective! \t\n\t\nThe worst part about this entire experience has been the fact that we made the mistake of not purchasing the refrigerator at Lowe's or Home Depot. This entire issue has been created by the staff at Best Buy Bunker Hill and I still have no resolution. I STILL HAVE DO NOT HAVE THE REFRIGERATOR I PAID FOR ON MARCH 24, 2012!!! A simple 5 minute phone call by the best buy employee to the distribution center in Dallas in the beginning could have saved us the grief we have had to go through. It is not worth the added stress to buy here, especially if you are transitioning into a new home. We have no choice but to stand back and let Best Buy Bunker Hill do what they please on their own time. There has been no follow through on anything that they have promised, the employees lack initiative and created additional problems, and MY SUGGESTION TO ANYONE THAT BELIEVES CUSTOMER SERVICE SHOULD BE A PRIORITY IS TO NEVER PURCHASE A HOME APPLIANCE FROM BEST BUY AT BUNKER HILL!!! ...read more

Xfinity Store by Comcast
By cj February 15, 2011
Comcast does no due diligence when an identity thief opens an account. They will not stop pursuing you for collection. They use illegal collection agents who share your info with landlords, tenants, coworkers and do not post state required bonds. Collection agents call prior to 8 am on weekends. Comcast has the police report, case number, prosecutor's name and phone number of the culprit, but still pursues me. They wont mail me anything about the account because it is not at my address and services were not installed for me. They just expect me to pay. The thief was black, the 5 collection agents are black, the three people at Comcast are black. I am white. I wonder if this is a racial issue. ...read more

I really would not suggest that you buy any computer equipment. Definitely don't need to buy extended Geek Squad warranties because they will nit honor them.\t\n\t\nCustomer service is awful - it's like since Circuit City went under, Best Buy doesn't have much competition, so they really don't care.\t\n\t\nAnd the prices aren't that good either. Definitely check amazon b4 you buy anything from Best Buy 77055.\t\n\t\nAnd if you do buy a warranty, use Geek Squad to repair or troubleshoot a computer issue, it will be your fault. You have been warned about the Katy Freeway BestBuy. ...read more
Verizon Authorized Retailer - Cellular Sales

Trying to get satisfaction from these people is impossible, while they are a licensed location they are not really Verizon and treat people poorly. You will rarely find the same salesperson at the location on consecutive days. They float there salespeople between their locations and they won't return your phone calls, even when it is just a simple question. Do yourself a favor and stay away ...read more

Stay the heck away from this business and their services. After they sell their phone system to you and get your money. That is the last you ever see them. When they installed our system, they could not get it work properly and there were always static on the lines. We had to hire someone from outside to fix the problem. They promised us a one session free training after the purchase. Their manual does not say anything and is useless. We asked for the free training, they denied it and told us we have to pay $140 + tax to get one hour of training. They are a rip off. Save yourself some time and further headache. Go to the Office Depot and buy a multi line phone system. You will be much better off. Not only it is much cheaper, it will also works !! ...read more

Do not buy any open box item at this store! We learned the hard way when we purchased a Mac Book Pro and were told it was opened in order to show the item to a customer, and the mac book as never purchased. After we bought it, we learned that it had indeed been purchased, used, and registered then returned by someone else! Watch these punk kids that sell expensive equipment at this store! ...read more

If you are looking for a new phone system for your business I would highly recommend the people at TELMART. They hooked me up with a phone system for my new business and did all the installations and even traiined my employees on how to use the system. They also did one heck of a neat job with the cabling and the phone room. They definately take pride in their work and the service they offer is top notch. Their technicians are very knowledgable and they are a lot cheaper than most of the other companies I was considering. They also helped me with putting together my computer network. Give them a look, it will be well worth it! Steve Miller ( a very satisfied customer!) ...read more

Home Alarm & Security Considerations
Everyone wants the best sport cars, best electronics gadgets, not excluding best house in an excellent, safest, coolest, nicest, most beautiful and secure location - that's if any exists. Now, having all these best this and best that also means that you should have the best security system for home to firmly secure your properties. Note that the fact the family A uses certain security systems would necessarily mean that same home security and surveillance system is appropriate for your own home. In fact, here are top tips that will guarantee your choosing the best home security systems: 1.) Company Monitored System or Self-monitored Security System: Simply put, you have two options here. Monitor it yourself or have another security outfit do the monitoring for you. Do-It-Yourself DIY home security camera system is a great way to save cost because they often do not require monthly subscription or monitoring charges. There are also free monitored security systems that you can take advantage of. 2.) Cost of Security System For Home And Your Budget: Now, don't be fooled into thinking the highly pricey security and surveillance equipments are more secured than others. They are not necessarily more secure or better. However, the features in each system are markedly different. Most people put off purchasing a security system because of the throat-cutting cost. Actually, you need not worry about that. Simply start small, one device at a time, in the interim, you can even supplement with a fake surveillance camera. Over time, you would have a full-fledge, fully-function home security systems. 3.) Internet Connected Security System Or Stand-Alone: Would you like to get SMS alerts when something happen in your home when you are not anywhere near your house? Would you prefer to view the interior of your apartment in real-time as someone breaks in? Then you should ensure your system supports remote internet connectivity. On the other hand, stand-alone requires you to periodically review recorded footage of your system. Lastly, decide the type of network connectivity and top system features your security system should have. Note that the differences between intrusion detection and intrusion prevention largely depends on YOUR choice of security systems. Honestly, you cannot be too careful! Consider these steps to make a well-informed decision. ...read more
