Why does the water stink all of a sudden?!!! And I don't mean smell bad, but downright stink!!! It smells like they are using pure Clorox! I've been here for almost 30 years and it never smelled like this! And, since there is a city of Houston charge on our bills, why aren't we getting recycling bins for our plastic, metal, glass,etc!? I've lived in my house for almost 8 years. I've owned 3 other homes prior to my current home which is in the Sunbelt FWS district and I have NEVER experienced such unprofessional service in my life before getting stuck with Sunbelt. I hope enough people complain and something gets done about the way they choose to do business. It's a total racket. This water company are thieves and they have a monopoly with the water supply in this area as there are NO OTHER OPTIONS for water supply so it's their way or the highway. Their business practices are likened to bullying and are completely unreasonable. How they charge their customers and what the base amount is and how they come to that amount should be illegal. So, basically, use as little water as possible, DO NOT RUN SPRINKLER SYSTEM, do not wash your car, do not bathe your dog, if you don't have to, but rather water any outside plants with the garden hose, take your car to the car wash and take your dig to the dog park to bathe then for free DURING THE MONTHS OF DECEMBER, JANUARY AND FEBURARY EVERY SINGLE YEAR as these few months water usage are what your entire year base pay is calculated from no matter how little you use your water at different times thoughout the year. I've never had such ridiculously high water bills even when I was married with two people in the house plus over night guests viditing as I have as a single person with Sunbelt FWS as my water provider. It's a shiesty operation designed to keep those on the water board with Sunbelt FWS rich. I would love to see a class action law suit happen against these people and I can guarantee it'll be proven that this water company has been ripping people off for decades! Then they'll be forced to pay restitution and I wouldn't be surprised if it'll put them out of business and a more reliable fair business practicing water company takes them over. How the run their business is wrong on so many levels for so many reasons and when your business is run by pure greed and totally unfair treatment to their customers, it'll come back to haunt them because their greed will eventually sink them. If you have a choice, DO NOT BUY, RENT OR LIVE in the Sunbelt FWS district. I am in the 77040 zipcode for anyone considering living in this same zipcode. My property is for sell in this area. House is vacant and have never recieved a bill, I have to call every month to ask how much. Which means, by that time, they have put a tag on the door and all the added fees. Paying close to $100 each month, while meter reads -0- usage. Driving across town to drop payment in nite box. When questioned amount of bill, they stated whey were estimating based on last years usage (6 people used to live here). Not fair, how do they get away with this.
