DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR MONEY.I went through the drive-thru around 6 am. I realized when i got to the window that I didn't have my debit card and the smallest bill I had was $100. I had planned to apologize and tell the person at the window that if she couldn't break it I would cancel my order. I never got that chance. As soon as she had my money, she closed the window and walked away. Then, another employee leaned around, looked at me and said, "Oh yeah, that's her.". About that time, the General Manager (Roger# came to the window and said, "Ma'am, we're tired of you giving us counterfeit money. This is the second time this week. You gave us a counterfeit $20 yesterday, and this $100 is fake too. I've already called the police." I was completely flabbergasted, and stated that I had not been to the retaurant the previous day, and the money that I had handed the cashier had just come from the bank. Roger called me a liar and told me that I had been there, that this bill was fake, and that police would be there soon. I said fine, call the police, I have done nothing wrong. Fast forward 15 minutes of waiting for police. I walked in to the dining room, and asked when police would be there. Roger then asked ME, the person that he has been accusing of a FELONY, for the non-emergency number. He was threatening me and holding me there, and had not even called the police. All this time, the staff behind the food prep area was laughing and gesturing in my direction. After all of this, I asked to see security camera footage that proved any of his claims. He stated that he did not have any. I asked for any proof, whatsoever. Again, nothing. The ONLY thing that linked me to the person supposedly distributing fake bills was the color of my vehicle #Silver). I have reported this to the BBB, Whataburger's corporate offices, and will be posting my review on every public forum I can find. This treatment was completely unacceptable, and I will never give Whataburger my money again.Oh, the kicker. The bill was 100% real. He assumed it was counterfeit because it "felt funny."
