The food is tasty, but quite expensive (why on earth are beans and rice 7.95?) but my complaint is that you stand in line to give your order. That can take 20 minutes. THEN you wait for your food, with servers bringing food to your table. Why not just have servers take the orders in the first place? You can easily spend an hour waiting to eat. And the 3 times I ate there, twice I had to send the crawfish back to be 'dunked' in hot water again,as they were lukewarm -- I mean really - why does it take 30 minutes to get a serving of something they must continually be making? The staff are pleasant and the food is tasty, but between the expense and the inept business plan, we won't return. 3 times is enough. ...read more

Every time we eat here its dirty the womens restroom is beyond words had a bucket catching water a waitress even told me they ought to do something and gave me a number to call and complain. the food is so so and the staff is usually friendly. somebody please do something! ...read more

After hearing how good the food was, we decided to try Benno's. We were massively disappointed. After ordering at the front counter we sat down and waited for our food. Everyone else in our party was served within about 10 minutes of ordering. But my husband, 14 month-old daughter and I were left waiting. After about 15 minutes, a waitress came up and said that they had forgotten to get my husband?s signature on the credit card receipt. After collecting his signature, there was no mention of when the food would be there. After about 20 minutes of waiting, my husband went up to the counter to check on our order. He was told, "We're just putting it in now." After 10 more minutes, we checked again and the order was finally on its way to our table. So needless-to-say, after finally receiving our food 30 minutes after we had ordered it, our whole party was finished eating and was left to wait on us. Further, my daughter was so hungry waiting on her chicken fingers she ended up eating from her cousin?s plate, and was no longer hungry for her own food when it finally arrived. Not only was the Benno's counter staff rude, they never once apologized for the delay, nor did they offer any way to make it better (discounts, refund, etc.). Further, to add insult to injury, the waitress came to the table after we had received our meals and asked snidely, ?Is everything okay after the ?little? food delay?"
