I have had to tell the office workers that no one is allowed in my apartment if I do not open the door because maintenance left my apartment unlocked for over 12 hours overnight. I did not discover it until 6am then I got home from work. Maintenance does not leave things clean or at least even decent when they come to complete orders. They just barge in even when I'm yelling "just a minute" because I'm half dressed. The hot water takes forever to even get warm so you have to let it run. The utility bill is ridiculous. I'm only home half the time and every month the utility bill is over $100 with all the fees and things they add on. The water is constantly getting shut off. And I do mean CONSTANTLY! I frequently have to call the office due to my AC not working properly. They never answer the phone in the office. I have called multiple times throughout the day on several occasions and I will not get an answer so I drive to the office and they are not helping anyone. Just simply not answering the phone. On 1 occasion I called, no one answered so I drove to office, sat outside, called again, no answer, went inside and Lana #I do believe that's her name# was on a personal phone call that was not an emergency. Unprofessional and very disrespectful. My fridge went out and it took them 2 days 2 come out and the maintenance worker had the nerve to tell me the food was still good after sitting in a hot fridge for 2 days. I had just went grocery shopping and had to throw everything away. The office staff suggested I file a claim with my renters insurance. I'm thinking maybe if they sent someone out that day like they said they would my food wouldn't have went bad. I was charged about $200 extra one month because they switched systems and somehow my info got screwed up so my payment didn't go through. I had never made a late payment before and my rent was always paid at least 2 weeks in advance. The floors are extremely thin to the point I got the police called on me SEVERAL times for my 2 yr old son walking. June 4th I put in a work order for an issue that is making it almost impossible for me to live in my apartment. They came out June 6th but the problem was not fixed so I put in another order June 7th. June 11th I called to find out why no one had been by and found out Lana never put the order in so they entered it that day. June 14th it still was not completed and no one was answering the phone in the office. June 20th I went to office to find out why it STILL had not been completed and I was given confused looks and then told they were busy with AC's and plumbing issues. June 23rd they called me and said they would send someone that day...today is June 26th and no one has been by yet so I'm due for another visit to the office. If you go search google apt reviews you will see tons of bad things. the staff is about as dumb as a bag of rocks. The maintenance or lack of is horrible. The apartment manger does not know how to manage. The maintenance staff are the ones running the show. If they don't want to do it they wont. Huge gaos in doors and windows. Leaks I have been waiting since December to get fixed and walls painted. Building I am in and one of my buddies as well has major infestation of bed bugs. As office staff says well we recommend you get renters insurance. But nothing done to cure the issue. Truth if the matter is they (owners)need to get rid of entire staff here if they want residence to stop telling tue truth on reviews like this one. They have a manager that his no control if tue property. Maintenance staff dictates what they will or will not do and when and if they do it. This property shares water so if therr is a leak the residence pay. Such as the casr was in January when pipes froze on the ither side of my buikding and my water bill was $65. Even thou I wasnt even there for most of the month. Foundation issues, water leaks, bed bugs, poor prooerty staff. If you like that then come on. If you feel paying 850 to 900 a month is to high for all the bs then stay away. Consider your self warned. If you rent here noone to blame but yourself. ...read more
