Please stay away from this place! Trust me when I say this. They are very friendly until you finish paying your balance and their service sucks! I went back to give my complaints after the event and the man yelled at my mom and told us that they don't give money back and that our complaints were useless! I went back to give him a chance to fix it... even an apology would've sufficed. He violated the contract and my party could've been shut down had TABC walked in because there was no security and alcohol was being served. We paid over $6000 for bad service! Check my other review on Yelp since this has a limit of characters! The owner even said that he doesn't charge as much but that's what we get for paying "so little"... so essentially saying that's the service he gives for the price you pay! And because I didn't get the slighest hint of an apology, I want everyone to know how bad their service was! ...read more

I had my wedding here and it was horrible and more problems that I definitely did not feel I needed. Every time I walked in the management team would speak negatively of the person having the event that week and everything I requested did not happen and when I walked in for the weddingI found out so I was very upset and asked the dj why it was not where it should have been and he was given direct orders to move where I requested the items to be placed so everything had to be changed while the guests were there. The end of the night they give you 30 min to clean up then close the doors on you, I was pretty laid back the entire time especially with how much they messed up and added stress if I could do it again I would never have picked the Alamo ballroom and I caution anyone that does. ...read more
