outstanding job by these people. Major issues both on personal as well as office computers. They repaired my wife's laptop and did it as they said they would. Gave them a call for our office network and they were very prompt as well as helpful with our issues. The service call and time on site to bring us back to life was very reasonable cost wise. Would use these people again when the time arises ...read more

Dr. Cell Phone Repair Center - Cracked Screen Repair Center

They took our kids Ipod with a broken screen but worked 100%. Made me sign a contract that I thought was just a typical repair contract but neglected to tell me that in it states that they are not responsible if it doesn't work anymore. What sort of repair company typically takes products that are working and give it back to you in worse condition. Regardless of what I signed I think it's insane to make a business of repairing things that are often more broken when you get it back but you still pay for the repair. They don't even plug it in at the end or I wouldn't have paid at pick up. Basically kids work there. Not a professional environment at all. Terrible business and even worse service. ...read more

I run an online business with a shoestring budget and when my laptop died I was so very afraid I wouldn't be able to continue working. I got on craigslist and found this company close by my home. I wasn't expecting to actually find a computer. I was kinda just going through the motions. I was surprised at the selection of laptops this guy had. I was able to purchase a mac book pro for way beneath the cost and I sold my old laptop to the store. Just thought folks should know this place is the bee's knee's. ...read more

I went to Nina last year for a reading- she told me alot of things about my relationship problems and that my ex was my soulmate. She told me I needed a chakara alinging and she could do this through meditation and she could get us back together. She said she needed $380 to do so. Me being the trusting person I was I did it. I was unemployed and Nina knew this- she let me pay it out. Well after she got the $380, she said she needed wedding rings to meditate on- not cheap ones you can buy at a craft store- real ones. She wanted me to buy them or get a credit card to do so (then I could return them) they werent going to be regular gold- maybe titanium or something but not the cheap ones. I told her no I couldnt do it. She said she would work around it. then it was I need $100 for a wedding candle- I couldnt buy one she needed to do it. I told her no, I had no money. She said again she would find away to work around it. then it was I need $200 for a crystal- I again said no, I had no more money. She said she would front the money and get it. She was going to have me meditate with it- never saw it. then it was I need money in one dollar bills to add up to you 2's ages for meditation. She had me put it under my mattress and then give it to her. Then she wanted me to get northpark gold- couldnt do it. She said she had money back guarantee if it didnt work. Well, he's not back yet and it has been 19 months. I have repetedily asked for a refund of the money- she puts me off and doesnt return calls or texts. I should have listened to the reviews I saw prior to going to her....... So- do not give her any more money than for just a reading- she will try to take you for as much as she can get a way with- even if you are unemployed!!!!! ...read more

Tired of Windows 10 Nagware?

Tired of Being Nagged to Upgrade to Windows 10? You and pretty much everybody else.  Would you like to know how to stop this permanently?  You’ll get rid of that cutesy little Windows 10 icon in your task bar too. Ready? Good. First we need to disable Automatic Updates.  This is something we always recommend anyway, especially on laptops.  Have you ever gone to disconnect and shut down your laptop so you can take it with you somewhere only to get the annoying message on your screen: (paraphrasing here) “Hey!  Don’t shut down your computer, OK?  We are going to be busy for the next 36 hours installing 1 of umpty jillion updates we just downloaded.”  “Turning off your computer could result in it becoming an expensive doorstop, so just go get a cup of coffee and chill, OK?” Directions below are for Windows 7.  For Windows 8, you need to type the commands into their Search window to find these dialogs. First we disable Automatic Updates: Click on Start Type in Windows Update The first item in the list should be Windows Update – select it The next window has a list down the left side.  Select Change Settings On the next screen change the drop down selection to Never check for updates (not recommended) Uncheck every box below it and click the (Yeah, I get it) button on the dialog box that pops up to tell you disabling your automatic updates could be bad for your health. Click the OK button when you’re done. Automatic Updates are now OFF.  You should go to the same location as in steps 1-3 and manually check for updates occasionally, installing ONLY security updates. Now to get rid of that annoying Windows 10 nagware. Close all running applications, as a reboot will be required Click on Start Select Control Panel Select Programs Select Uninstall a Program In the next window on the left side there is a list.  SelectView installed updates Wait for the entire list to fully populate.  This can take a couple of minutes. In the upper right corner is a “Search Installed Updates” option.  Type in KB3035583 Select it from the list Right-click on it and select Uninstall Click on the Restart needed button after the uninstall is complete. When your computer reboots, that annoying little window icon in your taskbar should be gone. Note:  If it comes back, that is a sign that Micro$oft has re-enabled your updates.  Go back and disable them again and repeat the above steps to get rid of the nagware. It’s also a good idea to kill every single instance of GWX (Get Windows X) in the registry, but one wrong move can result in an un-bootable computer, so I do not recommend this to anyone but seasoned gearheads.  It’s what I do to permanently throw a monkey wrench (I know, I’m dating myself) into the cogs of Micro$oft’s upgrade machinery. ...read more
