I only gave it 1 star because it doesn't give me a choice to give it zero stars. I would not recommend living here. Management here is unprofessional, rude, unfriendly, disrespectful & difficult to deal with. Many people have moved out because of it. I would say they are by far the worst landlords I have ever dealt with in my life. I recommend you shop elsewhere for an apartment because the hassle and daily headache you will go thru will not be worth it. ...read more

I moved to Corpus Christi in December of 2012. After driving all night I arrived at the Maryland Apartments and met Dawn at the office. First When I was looking for a place online I asked Dawn if it was located within walking distance to certain locations and of course she said yes. It wasn't... upon arrival Dawn had all the paperwork ready for me to sign. I asked to see the apartment first. We walked to the building the screen door was broken and had no screen and there was a strong stench of cat urine and air freshener in the hallway of the building. Walking to the building I noticed a large amount of stray cats EVERYWHERE! How wonderful she put me in the litter box building. After entering the apartment with Dawn and the maintenance man I discovered that the apartment was not yet finished and over run with roaches .lots and lots of roaches.100's. I refused to sign and asked for the return of my deposit. To date they have refused my request in violation of their own contract. ...read more
