I called Dr. Carter on a Sunday morning at 3:00 am because the horse had colic. She didn't even hesitate but rushed from her house to the clinic then to our pasture. When she arrived the horse was near death. She gave him pain meds, tubed him to relieve pressure, tubed mineral oil and water. He was up and walking soon and then could be transported to Waller Equine Hospital. We had called every vet in Brazoria County and no one would come to help. The vet at the Equine Hospital was amazed that a small animal vet would come out on an emergency call and save the life of a horse, but Dr. Carter did. She said that she was only doing what God allows…..but she went beyond even that….she has a true love and passion for all animals and that comes from within the person. I strongly disagree with the bad review of this clinic. When they first opened I went to their open house so I could see what kind of facility they had and where the dogs were kenneled. I have used most all of the vet clinics in Brazoria County at one time or another. This facility is very clean. All the kennels are inside where it is air conditioned. The staff is wonderful. They treat my pets as if they were their own. Dr. Carter has always stayed in the room and explained everything to me. I have recommended them to everyone and have not met anyone that has had a bad experience. I wouldn't hesitate to leave any of my animals here. ...read more

Dr. DeAnna Carter-Smith and her staff at Faith & Healing Vet Health Care are the BEST!!!!!! They are helpful and very nice!! The are gentle and caring with the people and the pets!! Made the switch for me and my 4 Dachshunds a smooth one. Right now Dr. Carter-Smith is treating my youngest pup for severe allergies and thank God for her treatment and patience with me and my pup!!! So glad she has branched out and opened her own private practice!!!!! Lord Bless her and her Clinic and Staff.
