I visit DK Nails Salon every two weeks for a manicure and pedicure. Easter weekend I decided to gels on my nails. The female owner did a great job and I got many comments. I was the second person to arrive at the salon. There was already one person in the chair for a pedicure. She decided that she wanted gels too. I told her how pleased I was. That was before the husband owner did my nails. He filed them but they still had some rough edges. More people had come in for pedicures and it appears that they were short staff. He hurriedly applied the gel and put me under the lights for 3 minutes. When I removed my hands from the light, the gel looked clumpy and looks like a hump on my nails, the edges were not fully covered. I told him he missed some spots. He put more gel on. It looks as though I need a fill and I just got one. This was a place I loved going to because the workers were pleasant. WORST NAIL SALON EVER!!!! DO NOT EVER GO HERE!!! The people are rude and unkind. I have been getting acrylic nails for over 8 years and never have I been treated so terrible and had my nails look so horrible. The lady literally slapped acrylic on my nails.. she didn’t shape them and half my nail bed was my regular nail with NO acrylic. It was unbelievable. When I asked her to fix it she yelled at me. Yes you heard right, she yelled at me. When I asked her to shape my nails she said she would have to charge extra. Needless to say, my nails look so bad and one already broke off.
