These apartments are by far the worst and most ratchet apartments ever! Every month it's a different rent price like this month is jacked up to $500 for this hole in the wall and last month it was $475 and then $450. The fat landlady is a b**** and is never there, EVER! and always has a attitude. She comes when she wants and leaves when she wants and no will sometimes show up for days. Maintenance man is nosey but he's bareable. There were small roaches that where dead all over the apartment when we first moved in and we had to put roach repellent EVERY WHERE! I had my car towed twice for parking on the "line" :/ and the neighbors are old people who sit out on the porch all day sipping wiskey. You will never see the owner and will get lied to about why you are charged extra fees that you didn't even know existed. ...read more

I have been a tenant of Creel Investments for years. I'm a single mom working and going to school. In the past I have seen a turn over in that office. For the first time in a while they actually have people there with good personalities. The ladies over payments are caring about my situation and have actually worked with me. I do understand their position is hard, but they have to be or get ran over. The little girl that delivers the notes to the tenants doors is a bomb shell, full of energy. I feel the only area they need help is in maintenance. Too many people not knowing what is going on. I had a issue a couple of months back with a leak in my kitchen and it took 2 weeks to resolve . Most of the complaints I see are coming from tenants. I am a landlord who got really fed up with tenants wrecking my houses, not paying rent on time or not paying at all, having pets against their contracts, allowing more people to live in the house than allowed, etc. Creel has taken care of this for me as I am usually too softhearted for my own good. They have always been accessible when I needed them and stay on top of the things that need to be done. As far as repairs taking a long time etc. Most of that is out of their control. It's up to the landlord if and when a repair is made, whether it's by their repairmen or by one chosen by the landlord. Some of these gripes seem suspicious to me. Electrocuted and a frig with rotten food? How about calling the health department or OSHA? How do you not know you don't have AC living in southeast TX? Compressors are extremely expensive to replace so maybe it took 3 weeks to gather the money. Of course tenants don't understand any of this because they don't own property.
