Code-A-Phone-Bonds

By Morgan Jones at Citysearch

Do you remember when we did not have to be searched to board an airplane, we left our doors unlocked, watched out for each other's kids, we trusted other people until they gave us a reason not to, and we always tried to do the right thing ... even when no one else would know? If you miss those days, you will love doing business with Bond's television. I want to move to a place where everyone does business ... and lives there lives ... just like these people do. ...read more

I had a dead TV that was going to be very expensive to replace. The guys at Bond's knew just what the problem was, and helped me get the manufacturer to rebuild the chassis - all much cheaper than a new TV. They were very helpful, and much faster than I expected. ...read more

After spending some agonizing hours attempting to find a local service rep through both the extended warranty company and the Home Theater Store, I did some searching on my own and found Bond's and was lucky enough to speak with a technician named Elvis who was not only knowledgeable but advised me of a thermal sensor recall by the manufacturer. Elvis promptly serviced my Mitsubishi DLP TV with no charge to me last year and I just purchased a new lamp for the DLP this past Saturday and was delighted at the service I received both on the phone and in person. THESE GUYS ARE TERRIFIC and their collection of old tv's is amazing (it will really take you back). Thank you for your great service! ...read more

A To Z Electronics

I'd had a terrible experience with a different Samsung warranty vendor, so Samsung sent me to A to Z. They were very quick to call me back, kept me in the loop while parts were ordered, and did the job right as quickly as they could. The tech, Don, was great. The dispatcher was great. If you're worried that your warranty work will be badly handled, don't. These folks do a fantastic job. ...read more

Apple Domain Northside

The Domain shopping center is very ""chic"" so naturally there is a shiny new apple store. As a loyal fan of Apple I was excited to go into their newest store in Austin...Absolutely terrible. Cables everywhere, messy displays, a staff that knows absolutely nothing about their own products. I've had 3 friends encounter very rude genii (one actually laughed). My suggestion to you is to go to Apple Store in Barton Creek Mall, their staff is very nice and intelligent. If the insanely busy Apple Store on Fifth Avenue (The Cube) in New York can keep their store beautiful and filled with friendly, smart specialists why can't this small, low traffic store get it together? Shame on you Apple. This store will only disappoint you. ...read more

Paid $210 for home visit and diagnostics of Hitachi big screen. I gave them all of the info on the TV (model, problems, ect.) so the tech. could study up before he came. He arrived on time with no diagnostic devices. Did have a screwdriver to try another bulb, but brought the wrong replacement. Just looked at the set and wrote down problems. Said he would contact Hitachi and contact me back. When I finally contacted him, he said Hitachi would not help him. I am now working directly with Hitachi. Total waste of my money to pay these fools. ...read more

Dub King

I love the Dub King! Al and his team are real professionals with a friendly atmosphere in their modest store front studio that makes you feel like a member of the family. They paid extra attention to me to help design a CD cover that was beautiful and informative. They did a rush for me over the phone and it was ready even before the agreed upon time. Beautiful work and quality service. It's obvious they have a lot of experience and know what they're doing. I've never been disappointed and they have always exceeded my expectations on duplicating my CD's and DVD's. ...read more

In the Beginning...

http://www.pro-tape.com In the beginning, a couple of young guys out of the University of Texas at Austin started a production company and about a year later (1986) we and our partners realized there was no one selling Ampex audio tape at a competitive price in Austin.  And so Pro-Tape was born.  20 years later while tape is no longer used the way it once was, Pro-Tape Systems has become a full-line supplier for audio-visual products including Adobe, Apple, Audio-Technica, Avid, Canon, Denon, Digidesign, Fuji, JVC, Marantz, Panasonic, Sennheiser, Sony, Tascam and much more.  We are an authorized Apple Service Provider for warranty and non-warranty repairs and we do thermal CD and DVD printing and duplication, plus offer a wide variety of rental camcorders including the popular Panasonic HVX-200 and Sony HVR-Z1U. Pro-Tape has remained independent, local and family-owned since 1986 and continues to hold customer service and technical support as a top priority.  We look forward to your visiting our website or our store and helping you turn your creative ideas into reality.
