so obviously this agency is good to someone otherwise it wouldn't be as popular as it is...but it was not good to me. i was signed with agence talent for a little bit less than a year, and in that time i went on two (count 'em 2) auditions. one of which was for a print job...im an actress...i have no experience in print. but really i can't be super upset about that...if it's a slow year, it's a slow year and that's not exactly your agent's fault. but what really bothers me is that i gave this agency a check for about 60 bucks to put me on their website, and they NEVER did (i know i know you shouldn't pay the agency any money...but this is a well known agent, it's not like she was some random guy with a camera. agence is well know in austin, so i didn't think i'd get scammed, but i did). the last straw was when she dropped my friend (who had booked many jobs before business dried up). my friend found out she had been dropped by going to the website and seeing that her profile was no longer there...really agence? so unprofessional. i know this is a friendless business but that's not cool. so basically i quit agence before my contract expired so i could feel like i still had some dignity. again, someone must like agence talent because they're still in business, but it was just a huge waste of time for me...thank god i was able to find work by myself when i was signed with them... ...read more
