I am happy to announce that our company is now 23 years old. That is truly amazing in this day and age of small business and especiallyIT service firms. Here are my thoughts on how CIS is still a strong company: Great Customers! We have some customers that have been with CIS longer than I have. That says a lot about our services and the loyalty of our customers. Loyalty is hard to come by these days. Great Management (I am not considered a manager so no kudos there for me!) Tim Riddle and Richard Ayars have been at the helm and are truly the most creative business men I have met. Great Team! I will take some credit there since I have worn many hats at CIS and I have worked here for 15 years. I sometimes say that my job in sales and marketing is like herding cats, especially on the sales side. I would like to give special thanks to our customer service manager Muriel Furlow. She makes a big difference in how she wrangles the technicians and gets them to the right customer site at the right time! Talk about herding cats... Great Products! CIS or Custom Information Services has represented some of the best products around from Microsoft including Dynamics GP. We all may complain about Microsoft but you have to give them credit for all the Office and Dynamics productivity products and the great server operating systems. We also sold Sage PFW once upon a time before Sage became an investment company rather than a software company.
